The Ahmedabad Municipal Transport Service (AMTC) is installing GPS tracking in more than 200 buses. The Times of India says a central station will “monitor bus movement and intervene when drivers speed or skip designated bus stands.” The goal is to put an end to overloaded buses and speeding drivers.
