The RAC Foundation claims that the Treasury plans to raise over £2 billion from Britain’s road users before 2011. This means that motorists will be taxed four times as much than would be saved by persuading the Chancellor to drop the 2p October fuel duty increase. Italian car-maker Alfa Romeo has announced that its stunning sporty compact, the Alfa MiTo, will make its UK public debut at this year’s British International Motor Show in ExCeL London, from 23 July – 3 August 2008. Fleet managers with biofuel powered vehicles on their fleet should take heed of the latest news from the Government on biofuels.
